*Traffic Control Person *- $17.50 -$19.50/hour

Responsibilities include:

* Assisting with the setup of temporary workplaces
* Direct traffic at temporary workplaces
* Warning workers of impending danger

Training & Requirements:

* Provincial Traffic Control Person Certification
* Steel-toe boots
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

*Temporary Workplace Signer* - $ /hour

Responsibilities include:

* Ensuring temporary workplace are signed in accordance with provincial requirements




* Ensuring all equipment required for the day is loaded on the truck prior to departing
* Interacting with customers in the field to understand scope of work and level of traffic control required
* Ensuring Traffic Control Persons are following all safety policies in the field
* Acting as a Traffic Control Person while crew members are on breaks/lunches
* Performing routine inspections of temporary workplaces

Training & Requirements:

* Provincial Traffic Control Person Certification
* Provincial Traffic Control Agent/Signer Certification
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
* Steel-to boots

At this time, priority will be given to those who are willing to be assigned the task of driving for current TWS. Must have a valid NS license and clean abstract.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $17.50-$21.50 per hour

* Nova Scotia Traffic Control Person Certificate (preferred)
* Nova Scotia Temporary Workplace Signer Certificate (preferred)
* Nova Scotia Class 5 Drivers license (required)
