Day In the Life This position is a lifestyle.
Starting in the spring, its possible youll be on the road for close to 2 weeks at a time, with plenty of hours to work within the season so if youre looking for LOTS OF WORK , this is a great opportunity.
On days when the weather isnt cooperating, you will still get hours while focusing on general maintenance & cleaning of the trucks and equipment.

Safety and Environment (HSE) polices and contractual HSE obligation for the staff and public are met Operate/walk behind paint application carts/durable equipment and perform abrasive and non-abrasive blasting and grinding Operate forklifts and loaders Lay-out and pre-mark on new and existing asphalt by following plans/drawings Set up/take down traffic control, as per OTM book7 Maintain accurate documentation driver logs, fuel records, time sheets and daily work logs Maintain/clean equipment and conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs, as needed Other duties as assigned Qualifications Previous experience in highway painting and maintenance with knowledge of OTM Book 7 traffic control, an asset Flexibility and organizational skills to multitask and manage time in a fast-paced workplace with rapidly shifting priorities Ability to perform minor repairs on the equipment, an asset Ability to lift 50 pounds Class G License Excellent team player to work productively in a highly functional team Willingness to learn and appreciate Miller Values - Safety, Quality and Integrity so we can continue Building Greatness Willingness to work assigned day and night shifts Ability to travel and extended stays, when required Compensation Data Targeting $18-28/hr Culture At Miller, we want every employee to feel connected, where creativity and innovation thrive, and your contributions make a real impact.
