Join the Township of Oro-Medonte as a full time People and Safety Coordinator. Lead safety programs, recruitment processes, and wellness initiatives to promote a safe and inclusive workplace.

Reporting to the Director of People and Culture, the Coordinator will be instrumental in executing people programs. You will focus on the Community of Belonging and Wellness programs, coordinating recruitment processes, and facilitating safety committee activities. Your role is crucial in ensuring compliance with health regulations and fostering a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead development of Community of Belonging and Wellness programs
• Coordinate the entire recruitment process, from posting to offers
• Facilitate Joint Health and Safety Committee activities




• Conduct annual safety program audits and training
• Verify safety standard operating procedures and certifications

Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of related experience in municipal/public sector
• Degree/diploma in HR, Labour Relations, or Health and Safety
• CHRP/CHRL or CRSP designations preferred
• Strong project management and communication skills
• Satisfactory Driver’s Abstract and Criminal Background Check
