Job Title: Field Sales Representative

Job Description

This is a permanent Field Sales Representative position based in Quebec City, with a focus on managing an existing client portfolio for consumer products.

Responsibilities

- Drive sales and manage promotions for consumer products.
- Engage in physical merchandising, including placing products, securing additional shelf space, setting up displays, and maintaining them, which accounts for 75‑85% of the role.
- Utilise analytical tools like Power BI to analyse sales data, identify issues, and strategically plan in‑store actions to boost sales. This involves understanding sales figures by store, category, and banner to justify promotions and target problem areas.
- Develop the market within the assigned client list; new client acquisition is not a primary responsibility.
- Work autonomously, manage one's own schedule, and prioritise tasks effectively. The typical work week involves being on the road Monday to Thursday, with Friday mornings dedicated to administrative tasks and planning from home.

Essential Skills

- Experience in sales and account management.
- Field sales experience in CPG/Food industry.
- Proficiency in French communication.
- Comfortable using analytical tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

- Customer service orientation.
- Inside sales experience.
