As the Vice President, Global Product Management you set the long‑term vision and strategy for our Women’s, Hardgoods and Accessories product categories. You provide strategic and operational leadership in overseeing a team of senior leaders, accountable for driving the creation, development and execution of a global assortment and line plan strategy that grows the brand through our design vision while delivering best‑in‑class sales, inventory and margin results. You play a central role in building the strategies and tactics to accelerate our Women’s, Hardgoods, and Accessories business globally.
You are an inspiring leader that communicates compelling, consumer‑centric product framework plans that are realized through product operations and merchandising execution. Your global merchandising strategy establishes Arc’teryx as a world‑class retailer and guides the representation of our product experience through all channels.
This role is based out of our North Vancouver office and is open to hybrid work.
Meet your future team
The Product Line Management (PLM) team is responsible for determining and delivering the right product, at the right place, at the right time. In partnership with the Merchant team, PLM delivers product lines that support the overall Design creative direction, while driving company sales, gross margin, and inventory productivity goals, on a global scale. This high‑performing team works closely with the Design and Product Creation Development teams to bring the product vision to life through future seasonal line plans, and partners with the Costing and Sourcing teams on the upstream side of the product cycle.
Core activities
- Setting the long‑term vision and merchandising strategies for our Women’s, Hardgoods & Accessories product categories
- Overseeing a team of product management leaders who execute the global strategy for their categories, planning for long‑term glide path, seasonal line plans and monthly flow to all channels
- Leading the creation of a global product framework and assortment structure that guides merchant execution within retail stores, e‑commerce channels and wholesale to maximize sales, profit and brand positioning
- Overseeing product lifecycle and go‑to‑market process of all product categories through effective teamwork and partnership with Product, Supply Chain, and Finance teams
- Partnering closely with cross‑functional partners in Brand Marketing, Digital, Retail and Commercial teams to ensure our creative vision and merchandising strategies are realized with the guest experience
- Upholding Fair Labor Association’s Workplace Code of Conduct and Principles of Fair Labor and Responsible Sourcing throughout the Arc’teryx supply chain

Qualifications
- Degree and 15+ years’ experience in merchandising with product‑led brands, including 10+ years’ experience leading a team
- Product‑obsessed, with deep product knowledge and understanding of the product lifecycle
- Expertise in driving strategy, line planning and line architecture
- Proven track record in developing and leading the execution of a multi‑year business strategy and collaborating with senior stakeholders
- Skill in setting a clear vision, aligning team around objectives, and fostering commitment to these objectives
- Influential leader with high emotional intelligence, able to drive alignment across diverse cross‑functional groups at all levels of the business
- Solid business acumen with ability to lead in a complex matrix environment
- Ability to build relationships and create partnerships across the organization
- Proven people‑leadership skills and ability to build, coach and guide a diverse and high‑performing team
- Tireless integrity in driving excellence to milestones and deliverables
- Strong understanding of outdoor apparel marketplace
- Thrives in a fast‑growth, entrepreneurial environment and contributes to brand and team evolution

Compensation
The salary range for this role is USD$224,000 - USD$336,000.
Total Rewards

This range reflects market alignment and the scope of the role. Individual pay is determined by your skills, experience, and level of responsibility.
