On behalf of our manufacturing client, we are actively looking for a Project Manager for their location in Oakville, ON.
This is a great opportunity to join a leader in their field! POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead the planning and implementation of specific projects.
Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables.
Define project tasks and resource requirements.
Plan and schedule project timelines.
Assemble and coordinate project staff.
Manage project budget.
Manage project resource allocation.
Track project deliverables using appropriate tools.
Provide direction and support to project team.
Develop and maintain a relationship with the customer that reflects a partnership approach and demonstrates sound understanding of the customers needs.
Develops a customer service culture throughout the project.
Effectively resolves problems and concerns of the client.
Ensure quality assurance goals are achieved.
Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders.
Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions.
Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
Conduct project evaluations and assessments of results. QUALIFICATIONS: A minimum of 5 years experience in project management.
Post-secondary education in chemical or mechanical engineering or related technical discipline.
Direct work experience in the design and/or fabrication of custom process equipment.
Knowledge of pharmaceutical equipment design and documentation requirements an asset Knowledge of project management techniques and tools.
Proven experience in risk and change management.
Skillful use of software tools such as Microsoft Office, Visio, Microsoft Project or equivalent Solid verbal and written communication skills. KEY WORKING RELATIONSHIPS: Production Leads.
Engineering.
Clients WORKING CONDITIONS: Normal office environment with frequent sitting, standing and walking around the floor.
Required to use safety and personal protective equipment when on production floor.
Some travel required.
Some overtime required.
