The nurse will be responsible for providing vaccination during the annual flu campaign from October through December. Working with a customer service oriented team, you will provide a rewarding patient experience with empathy, discretion and professionalism.

Responsibilities include
Administer influenza vaccines to patients
Informing patients of the side effects of vaccination
Implementing emergency measures, as required
Compile and inventory vaccines administered
In depth knowledge of current guidelines, practice standards and medical directives
Provide quality, safe, compassionate care to all clients
Communicate and work effectively with all other members of the interdisciplinary team
Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills
Positive and results focused attitudeAbility to take initiative and demonstrate proactive/preventative approaches to care
Qualifications
You are the missing piece of the puzzle with
BN or BScN - Required
Current registration and license in good standing with the applicable provincial nursing regulatory body (e.g., CNO, CRNA, or BCCNM)
CPR certification up to date
Minimum of 3 years nursing experience (private or public sector)
Ready to travel to the client site
Valid driver’s license and have access to a car
Interest in customer service and a corporate work environment
