Job Title: Guidewire Business Analyst Location: Regina, Saskatchewan Industry: Property & Casualty (P&C;) Insurance Salary Range: Open Introduction SGI is seeking a professional to provide business analysis services for a timeboxed (10 business weeks) T&M; effort to assess the current Guidewire Billing
Center implementation.
The focus will be on identifying the root causes of operational challenges, evaluating the effectiveness of existing business processes, and recommending opportunities to improve automation, efficiency, and alignment with Guidewire best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications Minimum 5 years of Business Analyst experience.
Minimum 5 years of experience in gathering business requirements and resolving production issues and elaborating enhancements.
Business analysis experience with Guidewire Billing
Center specifically.
Expert level experience with Guidewire Billing
Center platform.
Advanced knowledge of techniques in eliciting requirements, including business, technical, nonfunctional, security, and testing requirements.
Advanced knowledge of various software development lifecycles and project delivery processes (e.g., agile, waterfall).
Advanced skill in documenting epics, features, and user stories.
Prior work experience at client or in client''s Industry.
Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications Knowledge and experience in Guidewire Insur
Cloud for Canada.
Experience in the Canadian insurance property and casualty industry.
Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Certification of Capability in Business Analysis (CCBA), or other industry-recognized designation/certification.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities Evaluate the suitability of the current delinquency process for the non-standard auto portfolio.
Assess the business and operational impact of collecting two initial payments prior to the standard billing cycle.
Identify manual activities, process gaps, and operational inefficiencies throughout the delinquency lifecycle.
Review process dependencies, data flows, and coordination between Guidewire Billing
Center and Guidewire Policy
Center.
Analyze existing delinquency-related production defects, recurring issues, and backlog trends to identify systemic root causes.
Assess opportunities to leverage out-of-the-box Guidewire Billing
Center capabilities and configuration to reduce customization, improve automation, and simplify operations.
Establish a common understanding of the end-to-end delinquency lifecycle across business and technical stakeholders, including process ownership, business rules, and system interactions.
Review the Three Pay payment plan and delinquency process to identify opportunities to improve customer outcomes, operational efficiency, and alignment between customer equity positions and delinquency actions.
Review billing- and payment-related integrations between Guidewire Billing
Center, Guidewire Policy
Center, and external systems to identify integration gaps or operational impacts.
Review end-to-end billing payment processes and controls to identify opportunities to improve payment reliability, monitoring, reconciliation, operational efficiency, and the prevention of avoidable delinquency activity.
