Role Overview
The successful candidate reports to the Manager, Account Transition Services. The candidate will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing and making decisions on complex account opening documentation and supplementary forms, including, but not limited to QI/FATCA documentation, Formal/Informal Trust Documentation, RESPs, etc. Review, in meticulous detail, is required for all submissions to ensure all accounts are approved or declined within a set service level agreement (SLA). The candidate will be responsible for managing the Account Review process for all Portfolio Managers custodied at CLIENT including Elite Clients.
The candidate must be able to use sound judgement when reviewing documentation that requires complexities to prioritized and considered in conjunction with regulatory and business requirements. Identifying submission trends is key to proactively correct submission errors and enhance the user experience. Additionally, the candidate must have the ability to clearly and confidently articulate complex scenarios via email, over the phone and during regular touchpoints with Elite Clients.
A successful candidate must understand how they complete their work, i.e., attitude, behavior, disposition,
and teamwork are just as important as daily production.
Responsibilities
Meticulous attention to detail when reviewing account documentation and supplementary forms
Manage Mailbox communication and investigate queries in a timely manner to meet SLA
Screening Corporate and Individual profiles
Communication with internal partners and Networks must include access to self-serve links to drive digital adoption and learning behaviors
Communicate deficiencies, rejects and next steps with Networks indicating deficiencies with clarity and precision
Collaborate with various partners to share best practices
Qualifications
Post secondary education with 2-3 years relevant experience
Proficient with Outlook, Microsoft office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a growth setting
Proven ability to work effectively as a team member
Attention to detail and communicate a clear understanding and sense of urgency
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Nice to have
Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) Certification
Options Licensing Course (OLC) or Options Supervisors Course (OPSC)
