Job Description

Performing all general office duties

Assigning maintenance requests and routine check orders to Shift Engineers

Keeping records of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance jobs through Transcendent Maintenance Management System

Following up on all job requests issued and reporting any concerns to Director of Engineering

Receiving maintenance requests from guests and staff, ensuring work orders and service requests are utilized for tracking

Scheduling and arranging contractors to work on specific projects

Working with the Automated Building Management System for building comfort

Purchasing source materials and supplies, issuing purchase requisitions and ordering items when purchase requisitions are approved

Preparing and keeping records pertaining to payroll and leaves of absence

Attending monthly Engineering Departmental Meeting and taking minutes





Updating information on the bulletin board in the maintenance shop

Completing energy consumption meter readings and updating them in GAIA 2.0

Monitoring and maintaining inventory

Preparing all report documents, maintaining and filing all equipment operations log sheets

Working with the Finance Department and adding to the system the new vendors/contractors

Managing all keys, including hard keys, as well as programming key cards and fobs

Preparing work schedules for Shift Engineers

Responding to the Health and Safety Committee’s requests and further planning with the team in a proactive fashion

Qualifications

Previous guest service-related experience required

Strong interpersonal, problem-solving and organizational abilities

Computer literacy a must, with Opera experience an asset

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Highly responsible and reliable

Ability to work independently and also as part of a team cohesively
