Our public sector client is seeking a Senior Project Manager (PMP, 8+ years) to lead Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC), Mass Notification System (MNS), and Wayfinding Strategy projects Join a multi-project ITS Capital Portfolio focusing on critical risk management, compliance, and public safety initiatives.

This position oversees concurrent technology and infrastructure programs including cloud-based communication systems, transit wayfinding modernization, and enterprise GRC frameworks.

The role offers visibility across capital budgeting and cross-functional delivery teams within a large, regulated transit organization.

Candidates will contribute to portfolio-wide governance and ensure successful completion of high-impact public sector programs.

Contract, Toronto, Hybrid Must Haves Current PMP certification from PMI 8+ years managing complex application and infrastructure projects within large, regulated environments Experience delivering Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) , business continuity , and risk management initiatives Robust skills in project scheduling , budgeting ,



and resource allocation for capital IT portfolios Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related discipline Nice to Have Experience with Service

Now service management and agile implementation Public service or transit environment experience Familiarity with Ontario Human Rights Code and accessibility requirements Responsibilities Manage and oversee all project deliverables, including scope, budget, resources, schedule, and communication Lead cross-functional teams across solution delivery, business analysis, vendor, and contractor streams Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies throughout project lifecycle Define and schedule milestones, deliverables, and resource plans Prepare, maintain, and present project documentation, reports, and governance artifacts Coordinate personnel assignments and ensure project goals align with business objectives Support portfolio governance through PMO activities, steering updates, and budget reporting
