Representative,youare responsible forenhancing the experience of our guests day at Whitewater.
Youare responsible forselling and redeeming seasonpasses, day tickets, reconciling daily sales, organizing lost &foundanda; number ofother duties to ensure our guests have a safe and enjoyable visit.
You will act as an information resource for themountainand the Nelson area.
Your personal interaction with our Guests will foster a friendly, knowledgeable relationship that they will look forward to renewing each time they visit Whitewater.
If workingat the Nelson office, you will work at least 1 shift a weekup atthe hill as well. SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Guest relations.
Sales and redemption of day tickets, programs, and services.
Sales and processing of seasonpasses.
Act as an information source for the mountain, products, services, and the Nelson area.
Assistinginspecial eventsand selling snow school programs whennecessary.
Risk Managementas itpertains to our departmentplusthe Resort as a whole.
Cash handling (opening and closing duties).
Tracking and returning lost & found items.
Typing and administration duties.
Ensuring the efficient operation and presentation of the Downtown office which includes inside, outside, retail productsand the shared workspaces.
Guest Relations including managing main phonelinesand email inquiries.
Acting as an information resource, you must be familiar with all Whitewater products,policiesand procedures.
Supporting the accounting team at the Downtown Office whenrequired.
Other duties as assigned (IGS helps many of the other departments with a wide variety of administrative duties).
Champion a sustainable approach in daily operations, planning, and development.
Promote Whitewaters safety culture by reviewing and amending where necessary but not limited to: Department Manuals, Employee Handbook Work toachieve department
Embrace, promote and follow Whitewaters missionstatementand values.
Maintain current knowledge of legal standardspertaining towaivers and OHS practices. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION: Proficient with Microsoft Office.
Cash handling experience.
At least one year of industry experience would be an asset. SKILLS & ABILITIES: Exceptional Guest Service skills.
Detail-oriented and multi-tasker.
