Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: Consistently offer professional,friendlyand engagingservice Respond to all Room Reservation, Rate Offering and Hotel Information inquiries promptly and professionally via telephone,faxand/or E-mail Reserve hotel accommodations for guests in the Leisure, Business Travel, Convention/Association, Corporate Meetings and Wholesale (FIT & IMM) market segments Accurately record all required reservation information in the Central Reservations

Systemand/or the

Opera

Property Management

System (PMS) Review and updatereservationsinterfacing betweenthe

Accor Reservation Systems Ensure reservation confirmationsareissuedpromptly and accurately Monitor

Hotel Inventory tomaximize Room Revenues Contributetohotelsupsell program by consistently offering best suitable room types according to guest needs and maximizing hotel revenue and earn incentiveper Companys standards Provide support to our colleagues at Fairmont Global Reservations Centrewith guest booking needs.

Understandspecial promotions and communicate information to various operational departments Ensure allcashierpaperworkand journalsare filedwith

Manageron duty on a daily basis Adhere to all LQA standards set up for the department Consistently uphold a professional and well-groomed appearancein accordance withthe companys grooming policy Embrace the Fairmont brand promise and luxury in your role and in all your interactions Other duties as assigned Qualifications Your experience and skills include: Minimum1 year

Office, Reservations or

Salesexperiencerequired.





Mustpossessprofessional telephone etiquette and have an excellent command of the English language.

Typing skills, approximately 40 words per minute.

Property Manager (Opera), and Microsoft Office applications experiencean asset.

Excellent knowledge of hotel facilities and surrounding areas.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Strong interpersonal andproblem solvingabilities.

Must be flexible with shift start/end times and available to work weekends based on operationalneeds Highly responsible& reliable.

Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part ofa team with minimum supervision.

Ability to focus attention on guest needs,remainingcalm and courteous at all times.
