Redefine Immigration Solutions Inc. is a Canadian immigration consulting firm supporting individuals, families, and employers through work permit, LMIA, and temporary residence applications. We handle real files for real people, and we take accuracy, ethics, and client communication seriously.
We're looking for a licensed RCIC with hands-on temporary residence experience to join our team in office and take ownership of a growing caseload.
What You'll Do
Prepare, review, and submit LMIA applications end to end - stream selection (high-wage, low-wage, Global Talent Stream, in-home caregiver, etc.), recruitment and advertising compliance, prevailing wage verification, transition plans, and employer documentation
Manage work permit applications, including LMIA-based permits, LMIA-exempt and International Mobility Program streams (intra-company transferees, CUSMA, significant benefit, spousal open work permits, PGWP)
Prepare temporary resident visas, visitor records, extensions, restorations, super visas, and study permits
Conduct client intake and eligibility assessments; identify inadmissibility issues early and advise on realistic options
Draft submission letters, legal argument, and supporting documentation
Respond to procedural fairness letters, requests for additional documents, and refusals; advise on next steps
Advise employers on compliance obligations, record-keeping, and preparation for ESDC and IRCC inspections
Manage files through IRCC portals, the Employer Portal, and the Authorized Representative Portal, keeping accurate records and meeting deadlines
Maintain client files and communications to CICC professional and ethical standards
What You Bring
**Required**
Active RCIC licence in good standing with the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC)
3-5 years of hands-on experience processing LMIA applications, work permits, and temporary residence visas
Strong working knowledge of IRPA, IRPR, IRCC program delivery instructions, and the Temporary Foreign Worker Program
Demonstrated ability to manage a high-volume caseload independently and meet filing deadlines
Excellent written English, with the ability to draft clear, persuasive submission letters
Professional client‑facing communication skills and sound judgment on ethical and confidentiality matters
Legally entitled to work in Canada
Able to work on-site full-time at our office
**Assets**
- Experience with employer compliance reviews or inspections
- Experience with PR pathways (Express Entry, PNP) or family class
- Familiarity with immigration case management software
Compensation & Terms
Bonuses and commission: A performance bonus and commission structure become applicable after successful completion of a 3-month trial period. Details will be shared during the interview process and set out in your agreement.
Schedule: Full-time, in-person, Monday to Friday
