The Job!
This role sits at the heart of the organization's Research team, where you'll help turn industry trends, member feedback, and organizational data into insights that actually inform decisions. From designing surveys and benchmarking studies to building dashboards and briefing materials, you'll be involved in every stage of the research process - and your work will be seen and used by leadership, industry professionals, and stakeholders alike.
Designing and coordinating research projects - surveys, interviews, benchmarking, literature reviews, secondary research
Analyzing industry trends, member needs, and organizational data to spot patterns, risks, and opportunities
Translating findings into clear, actionable insights: briefing docs, reports, dashboards, presentations
Managing multiple research projects at once - workplans, timelines, quality checks, progress reporting
Responding to ad hoc research and analysis requests from leadership
Applying responsible data, privacy, and ethical research practices across everything you do
What You Bring to the Job
You're someone who's comfortable moving between the details of data and the bigger picture - able to design a solid research approach, dig into the analysis, and then translate it all into insights that make sense to a non-technical audience. You bring a mix of analytical rigor, strong writing skills, and the organizational chops to juggle multiple projects and deadlines without losing quality along the way.
A degree in Business, Social Sciences, Economics, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related field
3-5+ years in research, data analysis, market research, business intelligence, or program evaluation
Comfort with data cleaning, validation, and research documentation
Bonus points: experience at a professional/industry association, not-for-profit, or member-based organization
Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills; familiarity with Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey, Power BI, or Tableau is a plus
A sharp analytical mind - you can break a messy problem into parts, weigh the trade-offs, and land on the right approach
Strong writing skills - you can turn dense findings into plain-language insights for leadership and stakeholders
