Reporting to the Manager, Health & Safety, this role focuses on implementing and monitoring safety protocols at the plant. Candidates should possess solid knowledge of health and safety legislation and have 3-5 years of relevant experience. Your responsibilities will include training delivery, audits, and support for health and safety initiatives while partnering closely with management and the Joint Health & Safety Committee.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide guidance on health & safety policies and initiatives
• Monitor Plant Health & Safety Programs for risk elimination




• Facilitate a safe work environment for all stakeholders
• Develop and deliver health & safety training programs
• Conduct audits and facilitate corrective actions as needed

Requirements:
• Degree or certification in Occupational Health & Safety
• 3-5 years’ experience in a progressive H&S; role
• Knowledge of provincial/state safety regulations
• Valid Advanced First Aid or EMT certification
• Preference for CRSP, CHSC or CRST designations
