We are currently looking for an experienced Azure Local VDI / Azure Infrastructure Engineer to support enterprise infrastructure projects in Edmonton, Alberta .
Key Responsibilities
Deploy and manage Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments
Configure Azure Virtual Machines, networking, storage, and load balancing
Integrate Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and Active Directory
Manage FSLogix profiles and Azure Files/Azure NetApp Files
Monitor performance and troubleshoot AVD connectivity issues
Configure security policies,
Microsoft Defender, and Conditional Access
Perform Windows image management and Azure updates
Implement backup and disaster recovery solutions
Provide L2/L3 technical support and create technical documentation
Required Skills
3+ years of Microsoft Azure experience
Windows Server 2019/2022
FSLogix
PowerShell scripting
Microsoft Intune & Endpoint Manager
Hyper-V or VMware (preferred)
Microsoft 365 administration is a plus
