Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Dental Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the fabrication and repair of dental prosthetics, ensuring high-quality patient care. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy, and laboratory techniques, along with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The appropriate candidate must be registered with CDTO.
Duties
Fabricate dental prosthetics, with a focus on orthodontic appliances using various materials and techniques.
Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Apply infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure a protected working environment.
Collaborate with dental professionals to discuss treatment options and address any concerns regarding dental fabrication.
Operate laboratory equipment including CAD systems for precise measurements and designs.
Skills
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality.
Experience in dental assisting or related fields with a strong foundation in dental terminology.
Laboratory experience is highly desirable.
Understanding of medical terminology and documentation practices relevant to dentistry.
Strong knowledge of infection control practices to maintain safety standards in the workplace.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $30.00-$45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36.0 per week
Experience:
dental lab: 3 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
CDTO registration (required)
