Job Description WHATS THE JOB? Based in a world class Horizon North camp facility, the regular shift for this position is 14 days on and 7 days off, with 12-hour workdays.
Transportation is provided to site from a pickup point in Edmonton.
The Assistant Lodge Manager , reporting to the Lodge Manager, willassist with the overall operations, logistics, food services, contracts, environmental and maintenance.
This position is safety sensitive and requires drug and alcohol testing as a condition of employment.
Your work will include: Work closely with the Lodge Manager in leading and coordinating overall operations; Identify, develop, and implement site strategies, challenge assumptions underlying each sites operations, and ensure that operations are in compliance with policies and procedures; Ensure operational efficiencies and productivity goals are outlined and realized; Service the client by ensuring the highest quality facilities and services are provided to clients, owners and residents Demonstrate a commitment to excellent customer satisfaction; develop systems and practices to consistently measure and monitor satisfaction levels Maintain a human resources strategy that ensures human capital is attracted, retained and utilized at its highest levels; Demonstrate the ability to critically review and assess current operations with the objective for constant improvement.

Qualifications WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? A post-secondary education preferably in business or management. 5+ years of progressive management role in hospitality, food service or related industry.
Experience in the Camps and Catering and/or oil and gas industry is an asset.
Must be a strong leader with focus on people management.
Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power
Point), data entry, report preparation, email communication, and the ability to quickly learn new software applications.
