Job Description WHATS THE JOB? Join our Horizon North Rentals & Logisticsteam, where our people providequality service to our customers by coordinating the protected, reliable and on-schedule transportation of modular buildings, matting, equipment, and other oilfield and mining related supplies across western Canada.

As a Commercial driver , reporting to the Manager, Logistics, you will transport equipment across Western Canada.

This position is safety sensitive and requires drug and alcohol testing as a condition of employment.

Your work will include: Oversee cargo handling and secure loads, including equipment preparation, application of safe practices, and compliance with applicable acts and regulations.

Operate various trucks over outdoor terrain and through all weather conditions.

Attend pre-job Safety meetings; ensure safety and emergency equipment is in good working order; and accurately complete all required forms.





Establish and maintain effective communication with colleagues.

Consult with supervisor and crew regarding any operational deficiencies.

Comply with applicable legislation including safe operation, carriage of goods, drivers hours, and occupational health and safety.

Qualifications WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? Valid Class 1,2,3 or 4 Drivers license.

Minimum 4-5years winch experience.

Air Brake endorsement (Q).

Defensive driving course.

Lowbed experience.

Valid H2S and Standard First Aid
