Shape the future of Computer Science education at the University of Denver as a Visiting Teaching Assistant Professor. We're seeking candidates with expertise in algorithms, AI, data science, and inclusive teaching methods. This non-tenure-track faculty role offers a full time position for the 2026-2027 academic year, beginning September 1, 2026.
Ideal applicants will engage in teaching a range of topics, including CS theory, game-focused CS, and security. The role may also include course development with the flexibility to teach evenings, accommodating both full-time and part-time applicants. Key Responsibilities:
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Computer Science
- Develop inclusive curricula to engage diverse student populations
- Collaborate with faculty on interdisciplinary educational initiatives
- Participate in departmental governance and professional service
- Engage in scholarly research or creative activities Requirements:
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
- College or university teaching experience
- Ability to teach CS topics and support course development
