Meals on Wheels is seeking dedicated volunteers to assist with meal deliveries throughout the city. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to food security and reduce social isolation for clients. Volunteers will connect with members of the community daily, ensuring they remain independent at home. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver nutritious meals to clients across Calgary
- Provide social connection through brief interactions
- Cover routes consistently or as a adaptable spare
- Partner with staff drivers for downtown courier roles
- Participate in training and complete necessary checks Requirements:
- Availability from 10:30 AM – 1:00 PM at least one weekday
- Valid Alberta Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle
- Completion of Vulnerable Sector Check and training
- Willingness to establish connections with clients
