Position Summary This course is designed specifically for student teachers preparing to teach physical education to elementary and middle years students.

The course focuses on an overview of curriculum content, teaching methods, assessment and evaluation and learning resource materials and their application in teaching physical education in the context of schools and society today.

Position Requirements This course is part of the University of Reginas Faculty of Education Bachelor of Education YNTEP program offered in Whitehorse, YT.

Normally it is preferred that applicants will have a Masters of Education degree appropriate to the area of instruction.

Applicants should also have experience in the education system appropriate to the content of the course applied for, knowledge of, and experience with the Saskatchewan curriculum, knowledge and experience with the Faculty of Education programs and current knowledge of issues related to the course for which the applicant has applied.

University teaching experience is an asset.

This position is located in Whitehorse and all applicants must be able to teach in-person.
