Job Overview We are seeking a Senior Business Data Analyst to join our Digital Product Management team. The role focuses on providing comprehensive business and product support for data management, collaborating with Investment Management, Portfolio Construction, Trading, Compliance, Sales, Marketing, HR, and Operations to support data automation needs. Salary Base salary range: $120,000 – $130,000 annually, plus a discretionary bonus program. Responsibilities Main point of contact for assigned business projects in the deployment of recent data and reporting solutions. Lead projects with higher degrees of complexity and act as liaison between business and technology teams. Lead facilitation of the process of defining and documenting business needs and processes end to end with the business unit. Use activity diagrams, use cases, scenarios, flowcharts, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, interviews, and workflow analysis to create and manage requirements. Gather information from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, disseminate high‑level information into details, and distinguish user requests from true needs. Identify, define and document business needs and objectives, current operational procedures, problems, input and output requirements, and system access levels after consulting with business SMEs. Use standard templates to develop requirement specifications (Business Requirement Documents, epics, user stories, acceptance criteria). Update templates as needed and proactively recommend improvements.
Act as a key supporting resource in data analysis, statistical analysis using complex data from various sources, and present the data in simple and concise reports. Work closely with management teams and business partners to ensure the roadmap is continuously maintained, updating it with recent business requirements and needs as they arise. Function as a liaison between technology teams, support teams, and business units. Deliver work products throughout the Agile life‑cycle. Qualifications Undergraduate degree in a STEM program (Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business, or related discipline). In‑depth knowledge of financial concepts and the capital market, wealth management, and asset management domain knowledge. Minimum 5+ years of relevant data analytical experience. Experienced user of Data Warehouse and Cloud environments such as Azure, and proficiency with business intelligence, analytics, and reporting tools such as Tableau, Python, R, SQL, and Power BI. Strong understanding of data management. Strong analytical skills and statistical analysis ability, with attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality. Excellent oral and written communication skills to provide advice, guidance and present information clearly to all organizational levels, including executives.
Professional interaction capability with management and professionals at various levels. Ability to work with minimal direction, prioritize multiple projects, coach and assist others, and meet strict deadlines. Ability to work effectively in ambiguous and changing environments and desire to collaborate in a team setting. Clear and efficient communication in both technical and non‑technical environments; deliver well‑organized presentations.
