Summary

We are seeking a
QA Automation Engineer
to build, maintain, and execute automated test suites for our web applications. In this role, you will balance automation with core manual testing principles, ensuring cross-browser compatibility and UI consistency within an Agile environment.
This is a consulting job and the client is one of the major banks.

Working Model:
Hybrid – 2 days onsite in
Toronto

Working hour: 37.5 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

- 5+ years of Automation Engineering: Design and execute automated test scripts using Selenium + Python and Robot Framework .
- Compatibility Testing: Perform visual and functional cross-compatibility testing using Applitools and Browserstack .
- Agile Participation: Deliver high-quality software while actively participating in all Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups).




- Test Tracking: Create and maintain manual test logs and manage defects within Jira Zephyr .

Requirements

- Core Automation: Proven experience writing automation scripts using Python (Selenium) or Robot Framework .
- Testing Fundamentals: Robust foundational knowledge of manual testing methodologies.
- OS Ecosystem: High proficiency operating natively within a Macbook environment.
- Nice-to-Have (Accessibility): Experience validating websites for WCAG accessibility compliance standards.
- Bonus Asset: Familiarity with QA DevOps practices, including Continuous Integration (CI) pipelines and production monitoring.
