Position Overview As an EKG Technologist, the incumbent performs all routine and special EKG related procedures, trains Medical Technologists and ancillary staff in EKG procedures, maintains the EKG quality control program.

The EKG Technologist functions in accordance with Shared Healths mission, goals, objectives, policies and procedures, and any applicable legislation.

Experience Several yearsrelated experience and/or demonstrated experience sufficient to perform duties.

Supervisory experience and/or training an asset.

Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate) Advanced Registered Cardiology Technician.

Certification/Licensure/Registration Certified and currently registered with the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists.

Qualifications and Skills Must be proficient in related diagnostic procedures, ability to operate and maintain equipment.

Ability to teach and supervise others.

Ability to build a productive and efficient team bases working setting.
