Position Description: This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our downtown Toronto and/or Client office ( Front Street W) at a minimum 4 days per week - subject to change at any time.
Your future duties and responsibilities: Service
Now Development & Implementation Design, develop, and deliver end-to-end Service
Now solutions across modules, including: o Service Catalog o Incident, Change, and Problem Management o Knowledge Management o HR Case and Knowledge Management o Employee Service Center (ESC) o Service Portal Configure workflows, forms, UI policies, and business rules to meet business needs Develop and maintain Service Catalog items and automation processes Platform Administration Perform Service
Now administration tasks, including: o Instance configuration and ongoing maintenance o Platform upgrades and patching o Instance cloning o Performance monitoring and optimization Help ensure system reliability, scalability, and security Collaboration & Integration Partner with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions Support integrations with external systems as needed Use tools such as JIRA/JTMF and Confluence for tracking, documentation, and collaboration Support & Continuous Improvement Troubleshoot and resolve platform-related issues Identify opportunities to improve system performance and user experience Maintain explicit and accurate technical documentation Stay current with Service
Now updates and best practices Required qualifications to be successful in this role: Service
Now Certified System Administrator (CSA) Required Service
Now Certified Application Developer (CAD) Required Demonstrated experience in Service
Now development and administration Experience working across multiple Service
Now modules (e.g., ITSM, HRSD, Service Portal) Hands-on experience with: o Server installation and configuration o Instance cloning and platform upgrades o Performance tuning and optimization Experience using JIRA/JTMF and Confluence Understanding of ITIL processes and best practices Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Effective communication and collaboration skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with scripting (Java
Script, Glide APIs) Knowledge of REST/SOAP integrations Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies Experience in enterprise-scale Service
