Job Overview:COMPANY PROFILEPrimoris Canada is an infrastructure contractor serving major firms in the oil, gas, power, petrochemical, and heavy oil industries and include services covering tailings and hydro-transport pipeline construction and maintenance, storage tank construction and maintenance, industrial facilities multi-discipline construction and maintenance, piping fabrication, and pipeline integrity services.SUMMARYThe Warehouse Journeyman is responsible for management and maintenance of the shop, tool crib, and supplies for projects.JOB DUTIESShip and receive materials and equipment (load/clean equipment)Organize materials and tools for the worksiteMaintain cleanliness in the shop and tool cribPresent missing/overdue tool reports to supervisionMaintain equipment and toolsCreate requisitions for replenishing low stockMark new equipment with marking toolKnowledge of heavy industrial service materials and tools, and their proper handling, storage and preparation for work sitesExperience in equipment and tool maintenance, with some related training preferredGood knowledge of basic equipment maintenance and repair (mechanically inclined)Ensure equipment and small tools are maintained and visual and annual inspections are done as requiredKeep proper/updated certifications on all tools and MSDS sheets for consumablesAct as an in-town runnerPerform visual inspections of tools before releasing from/accepting in tool cribEnsure cycle counts are accomplished dailyVarious shop maintenance duties will be requiredVarious other duties as requested by managementHourly Rate: $50.79Location: CNRL CMS, Fort McMurrayAccommodation: Camp Available, Fly In/OutShift: 14&7 DayshiftQUALIFICATIONS/SKILLSValid Class 5 drivers (clean abstract)CSTS-09, BSO, or CSOComputer knowledge and experience with Word, Excel, and OutlookExcellent interpersonal skills, team player, and strong work ethicComfortable working in a fast-paced changing environmentPositive attitude and compliance towards safetyUnderstanding drawings and material grads is an assetFamiliar with and comfortable navigating the Fort McMurray and surrounding areasPre-employment alcohol and drug testing is a condition of employment.Primoris embraces the belief that our employees are our greatest asset and most valuable resource.
