We are working with a leading global engineering consultancy seeking a Senior Project Manager / Seller-Doer to support the growth and delivery of municipal water services projects across Western Canada, with a particular focus on British Columbia. This is a high-impact role combining project delivery, client engagement, and business development, ideal for someone who enjoys leading work while remaining technically involved.
In this position, you will lead both the sales and execution of complex municipal infrastructure projects across areas such as drinking water and wastewater treatment, biosolids, pump stations, pipelines, water and sewer systems, and facility planning. You will operate within a well-established project delivery framework, supported by dedicated project controls, QA/QC teams, and contract administration resources.
Key Responsibilities
Act as Lead Project Manager on municipal water and wastewater projects
Drive business development through client engagement, networking, and proposal development
Build and maintain strong relationships with municipal clients and key stakeholders
Manage project scope, schedule, and budget to ensure successful delivery
Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineering staff
Oversee QA/QC processes and review key project deliverables
Support and lead RFP responses, proposals, and client interviews
Collaborate with internal teams to position for upcoming project opportunities
Deliver high-quality client service to generate repeat business
Requirements
15+ years of experience in municipal water/wastewater engineering
Proven experience operating in a seller-doer capacity (winning and delivering work)
Experience managing projects valued at $1M+ preferred
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
PMP, CCM, or DBIA certification (or willingness to obtain)
P.Eng preferred
Strong communication, leadership, and client-facing skills
