As we continue to expand, we are seeking a Waterproofing Estimator to play a key role in delivering competitive and accurate bids from our Surrey, BC office. What You’ll Do
- Review project documents, including drawings and specifications, to assess waterproofing scope and requirements
- Perform quantity take-offs and material estimates for waterproofing systems (e.g., below-grade, foundation, roofing interfaces, plaza decks, etc.)
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for waterproofing projects, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness
- Submit bids and track project proposals to ensure timely and compliant submissions
- Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to gather pricing information and negotiate costs
- Communicate with project managers, site supervisors, and clients to ensure alignment on project scope
- Use industry-specific software, such as Bluebeam and Microsoft Office, for estimating and documentation
- Maintain and update cost databases, historical pricing records, and bid tracking systems
What You Bring to the Team
- A diploma or degree in Architectural Technology, Construction Management,
or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in construction, preferably in waterproofing, roofing, or building envelope projects
- Strong understanding of waterproofing systems, materials, and installation methods
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills for cost estimation and quantity take-offs
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings
- Excellent communication and organizational skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and clients
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, PlanSwift, Excel, and GoNest (or similar estimating/optimization software)
- Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines

- Hours of Work: M-F, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- Salary: $60,000 – 80,000 (based on experience)
- Pay Schedule: Paid bi-weekly, every second Friday
