Responsibilities
- Lead classroom sessions and practical workshops on various welding processes, including MIG, TIG, and Stick welding
- Develop lesson plans that align with industry standards and certification requirements
- Demonstrate proper welding techniques, safety procedures, and equipment maintenance to students
- Assess student progress through hands-on evaluations and provide constructive feedback to promote skill development
- Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and promote a culture of safety awareness within the classroom and workshop areas
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance,
and certifications achieved
- Collaborate with program coordinators to continuously improve curriculum content and instructional methods
Skills
- Proven classroom experience teaching welding or related technical subjects
- Strong knowledge of welding techniques, safety standards, and industry best practices
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey complex concepts to diverse learners
