The Grande Prairie Public School
Division seeks a Mental Health Capacity Building (MHCB) Wellness Coach to enhance the mental well-being of its community. This full-time position is based at Crystal Park School and involves collaboration with students, staff, and families to deliver crucial mental health programming. You will guide individuals to access specialized services and participate in evaluation activities to measure program effectiveness. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based mental health programming
- Collaborate with staff, families,
and community members
- Build relationships to support mental health literacy
- Identify individuals needing specialized mental health services
- Ensure compliance with privacy regulations and policies Requirements:
- Post-secondary degree in a related field
- Minimum two years’ experience in mental health services
- Solid knowledge of addiction and mental health
- Valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s license
- Exceptional relationship-building skills Support children's mental health through effective programming and collaboration within the Grande Prairie community.
