Empower clients at The Salvation Army as a Peer Support Worker in the Women's Treatment Program. This role involves direct supervision, group facilitation, and client support during vital shifts. This position, based in Vancouver, requires dedicated individuals to assist clients experiencing recovery challenges during afternoon and overnight shifts. As a Peer Support Worker, you will engage in direct client contact, facilitate Step-Work Groups, and support recovery processes in the women's unit.

Your responsibilities also encompass medication administration and ensuring clients feel welcomed and supported in their recovery journey. Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor client activities and provide moral support
- Facilitate weekly Step-Work Groups for clients




- Administer medications during shifts
- Report concerning client behaviors to management
- Support intake procedures after hours Requirements:
- One year of relevant experience with female clients
- Knowledge of 12-step recovery principles
- PeerConnectBC Certification or willingness to train
