Take the lead in youth engagement with the City of Maple Ridge as a Recreation Leader 4. You will utilize your experience in directing youth programs amid a agile recreational setting. In this role, you will manage a team of youth staff to facilitate recreational activities in the Youth Centre complete with a climbing wall and podcast studio.

Your key tasks include motivating youth participation, ensuring the safety of facilities, and mentoring volunteers and staff. You’ll assess program effectiveness, making a positive difference in youth development. Key Responsibilities:

- Lead social, recreational, and active programming activities
- Supervise and support volunteers and youth staff
- Encourage youth participation in planning programs
- Monitor safety and enforce rules consistently
- Offer referral services to enhance youth engagement Requirements:
- Completed Grade 12 with relevant post-secondary studies
- British Columbia Driver’s License required
- CPR and Standard First Aid Level C certification
- Proven program leadership experience
- Excellent communication skills with various stakeholders Inspire local youth through recreational programs as part of the City of Maple Ridge team.
