Title: AI Innovation Specialist

Location: Toronto, ON, Canada (Onsite)

Duration: Contract to Hire

Required Criteria:

Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of experience in insurance, operations, or related areas; or high school diploma/equivalent and 6+ years of relevant experience; or Zurich certified insurance apprentice with Associate Degree and 4+ years relevant experience.

Project management experience.

Hands-on experience supporting AI innovation, digital transformation, product experimentation, or technology-enabled business change.

Practical experience with generative AI, large language models, prompt design, RAG concepts, AI tools, or AI-assisted automation in a business environment.

Strong ability to discover and frame business use cases, assess feasibility, define success metrics,



and translate ideas into practical solution concepts.

Robust stakeholder engagement and communication skills, including ability to explain AI concepts in business-friendly language.

Preferred Criteria

Experience designing and delivering PoCs, pilots, prototypes, or MVPs with measurable business outcomes.

Experience with agentic workflows and workflow automation.

Responsible AI governance, risk, privacy, security, compliance, and ethical AI exposure.

Change management and adoption enablement experience.

Cross-functional program leadership across business, technology, legal, compliance, risk, and security teams.
