Lead the Town of Slave Lake as a full-time Manager of Facilities and Parks, overseeing operations and maintenance while enhancing community engagement and service delivery.

This role involves managing various responsibilities related to parks and open spaces, ensuring protected facility operations, and demonstrating effective leadership. You will drive projects from inception to implementation, maximize public support, and collaborate with your team to improve town services and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure safe operations of facilities for public and staff
- Delegate and manage projects efficiently from start to finish
- Act as a community liaison fostering public interest
- Manage budgets and fiscal responsibility for operations




- Direct maintenance and improvement projects in parks

Requirements:

- 3 years supervisory experience in a municipal setting
- Competent in Microsoft Suite and horticultural practices
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Class 5 driver’s license and First Aid with CPR
- Experience planning and coordinating capital projects
