D-Wave seeks a motivated Service Engineer II to support and optimize our groundbreaking quantum computing systems in Burnaby. You will address technical challenges while engaging directly with customers.

In this dynamic position, you'll be deeply involved in the maintenance and improvement of our quantum systems, focusing on both hardware and operational support. Your expertise in electromechanical systems will be crucial in troubleshooting and enhancing our Leap cloud service reliability, emphasizing strong customer relationships and team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

- Handle installations, upgrades, and maintenance of systems
- Diagnose and repair electromechanical and cryogenic issues
- Work closely with R&D; to enhance system design




- Create service procedures and troubleshooting documentation
- Build relationships with customers and support systems

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in complex systems support
- Foundation in thermodynamics and electromechanics
- Experience in Python or C/C++ programming
- Robust communication and multitasking skills
