Bethany Manor, a non profit, Christian, seniors housing complex is seeking a full time maintenance service worker.Assist with resident suite transitions by refurbishing suites (patching, painting, installation of counter tops, toilets, faucets, flooring prep, etc.)Inspections and maintenance of the buildings HVAC systemsEnsure efficient operation of all buildings systems (plumbing, electrical, etc.)General property and building envelope maintenance tasksScheduled maintenance and minor repairs in commercial kitchenKeeping maintenance recordsProperty landscaping, seasonal maintenance of sidewalks, snow & ice removalGeneral repairs to resident suites as requested (i.E. leaking faucets, plugged toilet, heat adjustment, etc.)Small appliance repairs (vacuums, electric motors, pumps, etc.)Operate and maintain power and hand tools,
lawn and snow maintenance equipmentParticipation in maintenance team planningSuccessful candidates will:be committed to providing a safe and healthy setting in a multi-building complexdemonstrated skill in minor home renovations and basic carpentry, plumbing, and electrical knowledgepossess skills and 1 - 2 years of experience in maintaining efficient and reliable building operations and routine maintenance of mechanical systemsbe team focused and willing to work with minimal supervisionhave a superior work ethic, strong decision making and problem solving skills and a positive attitudebe able to meet the demands of this moderately physical rolepossess the ability to recommend corrective action and implement required repairsenjoy older adultspossess or is willing to obtain a Power Engineering Fireman's Certificate and a valid drivers license#J-18808-Ljbffr
