Job Title: Platform Lead Core Banking AA

Location: Toronto, ON (Onsite / Remote)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Platform Lead Core Banking AA to lead the design, development, and optimization of enterprise banking platform solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Temenos IRIS Framework, API integration, core banking architecture, and technical leadership. This role will drive platform modernization, integration strategy, performance optimization, and delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performing banking solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the platform strategy, architecture, and roadmap for Core Banking AA solutions.

Design, develop, and optimize integration solutions using the Temenos IRIS Framework.

Lead API deployment, integration design, and performance optimization across enterprise platforms.

Prepare Interface Requirement Documents (IRDs) through field-level mapping for Payments and Arrangement Architecture (AA) products.

Optimize API performance, scalability, and non-functional requirements (NFRs) across integration layers.

Define platform architecture standards, technical governance, and development best practices.

Lead cross-functional teams including developers, architects, and product stakeholders.

Ensure platform security, scalability, reliability, and compliance with enterprise standards.

Collaborate with business, product, data, and infrastructure teams to deliver business-aligned solutions.

Manage platform monitoring, incident resolution, and continuous performance improvements.

Support DevOps, CI/CD implementation,



and platform automation initiatives.

Work with external vendors and technology partners to enhance platform capabilities.

Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend modernization opportunities for enterprise platforms.

Required Skills

8+ years of experience in platform development, integration, and enterprise application management.

Minimum 2 years of experience in a technical leadership role.

Hands-on expertise with Temenos IRIS Framework.

Strong experience deploying and managing enterprise APIs.

Experience performing field-level mapping for Payments or Arrangement Architecture (AA) products and preparing Interface Requirement Documents (IRDs).

Strong understanding of Temenos Integration Architecture.

Experience optimizing API performance and non-functional requirements (NFRs).

Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.

Experience with microservices architecture, REST APIs, and enterprise integration patterns.

Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

Experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk.

Solid understanding of web, application, and database platform architecture.

Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in Canadian banking or payments environments.

Knowledge of Canadian financial institution ecosystems and payment platforms.

Experience with multi-server enterprise environments.

Understanding of data privacy, security, and regulatory compliance.

Experience leading enterprise modernization and digital transformation initiatives.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
