Position - Performance Test Engineer

Location - Toronto, ON (Onsite)

Employment Type - Full-Time Permanent

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

- Minimum 8+ years of experience in Performance Testing.
- Strong hands-on experience with LoadRunner, including test script creation, execution, and maintenance.
- Proven experience leading end-to-end performance testing activities, including:

- Non-Functional Requirements (NFR) gathering
- Test strategy and test plan preparation
- Performance test scripting
- Test execution
- Performance analysis and tuning
- Test result reporting and stakeholder communication
- Hands-on experience with application performance monitoring and analysis tools such as Dynatrace and Splunk.
- Good understanding of performance testing methodologies, bottleneck identification, and performance optimization techniques.
- Knowledge of Azure cloud services and Kubernetes is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and execute end-to-end performance testing strategies for enterprise applications.
- Gather and analyze non-functional requirements (NFRs) to define performance testing objectives.
- Develop and maintain performance test plans, scenarios, and LoadRunner scripts.
- Execute performance, load, stress, endurance, and scalability tests.
- Analyze test results, identify performance bottlenecks, and provide recommendations for performance improvements.
- Monitor application and infrastructure performance using tools such as Dynatrace and Splunk.
- Collaborate with development, QA, infrastructure, and DevOps teams to resolve performance-related issues.
- Prepare detailed performance reports and communicate findings to technical and business stakeholders.
- Support continuous performance optimization initiatives and ensure applications meet defined performance and scalability standards.
