- Deliver construction materials, including drywall bundles, to job sites
- Perform daily safety inspections in compliance with regulations
- Comply with driving hours and load regulations
- Operate the boom truck and hydraulic system safely during deliveries
- Report any vehicle issues or required repairs to your supervisor
- Follow instructions from dispatch and management
- Provide excellent customer service (punctuality, site cleanliness, professionalism)
- Maintain respectful and professional communication with customers, colleagues, and the public
- Complete daily logs and required paperwork
Qualifications & Requirements
- 0 to 2 years of experience as a driver
- Valid Class 1 and/or Class 3 driver’s license
- Experience delivering construction materials (an asset)
- Experience operating a boom truck crane (an asset)
- Excellent and recent driving record
- Ability to work 10–13 hours per day
- Day shift starting at 6:30 a.m. until completion of deliveries (1/2 Saturday)
- Strong autonomy, attention to detail, and initiative
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills in French; English is an asset
- Knowledge of the Estrie region (an asset)
- Ability to perform physically demanding work (loading/unloading materials)
- Team player with a strong work ethic
