Be a vital part of Canadian Solar's mission as a Service Technician in Ontario, Canada. You'll commission and maintain our SolBank Storage Power Block while contributing to renewable energy solutions.
This role is crucial to the service department, ensuring preventative and corrective maintenance on Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). You'll also handle Long Term Service Agreements and travel to various project sites across Ontario. Candidates should possess experience with BESS or renewable power generation equipment in a service role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Commission SolBank Storage Power Block efficiently
• Perform maintenance adhering to warranty requirements
• Conduct onsite diagnostics and troubleshoot effectively




• Supervise subcontractors during site operations
• Develop standard operating procedures for maintenance
Requirements:
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 2 years experience in a service setting
• Knowledge of medium voltage power systems
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Willingness to travel frequently for project sites
