Job Title: Monitoring Tools Administrator

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Monitoring Tools Administrator to manage and optimize enterprise monitoring and observability platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SolarWinds Orion, Splunk, Dynatrace, and ServiceNow integrations, with hands-on experience supporting large-scale infrastructure, cloud, and application monitoring environments.

Key Responsibilities

Administer, maintain, and optimize SolarWinds Orion, Splunk, and Dynatrace platforms.

Ensure platform availability, performance, scalability, and operational health.

Perform platform upgrades, maintenance, configuration reviews, and performance tuning.

Design and implement monitoring solutions for infrastructure, network, cloud, storage, backup, applications, and enterprise services.

Develop dashboards, alerts, reports, and event correlation rules to improve operational visibility.

Integrate monitoring platforms with ServiceNow Incident Management, Event Management,



and ITOM.

Automate monitoring tasks using PowerShell, Python, and REST APIs.

Troubleshoot monitoring issues and continuously improve alert quality while reducing alert noise.

Required Skills

8+ years of experience in Infrastructure Operations, Enterprise Monitoring, or Observability platforms.

5+ years of hands-on administration of enterprise monitoring tools.

Strong expertise in SolarWinds Orion (NPM, SAM, Alerting, Dashboards, Reporting).

Solid experience with Splunk (SPL, Data Onboarding, Dashboards, Reports, Log Analytics, Event Correlation).

Hands-on experience with Dynatrace (OneAgent, Smartscape, Distributed Tracing, Synthetic Monitoring, RUM, Service Flow Analysis).

Experience integrating monitoring tools with ServiceNow ITSM/ITOM.

Experience supporting enterprise infrastructure, cloud, network, storage, and application environments.

Proficiency in PowerShell, Python, and REST API automation.

Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
