Job Title: Java Lead Engineer / Architect Agentic AI

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Java Lead Engineer / Architect to design and build next-generation distributed platforms focused on edge computing, backend services, and AI/ML enablement. This is a hands-on technical leadership role where you will define architecture, develop production-grade solutions, and collaborate closely with engineering, data science, and product teams to deliver scalable, high-performance systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop scalable distributed systems from concept to production.
- Build backend services and APIs using Java Spring Boot.
- Architect event-driven and microservices-based applications.
- Design edge computing and CDN-based solutions for low-latency signal processing.
- Develop data ingestion, validation, normalization, and processing pipelines.
- Build platform capabilities supporting ML inference, feature engineering, and model integration.
- Define integration patterns for third-party services, identity providers, and secure APIs.
- Design cloud-native architectures on AWS with a focus on scalability, security, and reliability.
- Implement observability, monitoring, logging, and governance best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-scale solutions.
- Mentor engineers and drive architectural decisions and technical best practices.

Required Skills

- 10+ years of experience building enterprise distributed systems.
- Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot.




- Experience designing RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
- Strong experience with AWS cloud services.
- Experience building scalable backend platforms supporting AI/ML workloads.
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot and LLM-based development workflows.
- Experience designing greenfield applications from concept through production.
- Solid architecture, system design, and technical leadership skills.
- Experience working in fast-paced Agile environments with evolving requirements.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript for edge runtimes.
- Hands-on experience with Edge Computing, CDN platforms, Lambda@Edge, or Edge Workers.
- Python experience for scripting or data engineering.
- Experience with Databricks or similar AI/data platforms.
- Experience building ML inference pipelines, feature stores, or model-serving platforms.
- Knowledge of JWT, OAuth 2.0, PKI, JWS, identity, and security architectures.
- Experience with distributed tracing, observability, and monitoring tools.
- Experience integrating enterprise platforms and third-party services.
- Open-source contributions or community involvement is a plus.
