Location: Downtown Toronto, Ontario – Hybrid 3 days/week onsite (close to Union Station)

Overview:
Our client is a global leader in fund services, corporate governance and related asset services with staff across 80 offices worldwide. As a core member of our Innovation IT team, you will work with dedicated professionals to ensure our clients maintain access to their critical information assets while keeping ahead of industry trends.

What you will be doing:

You will design, develop, and implement AI / ML solutions to support business requirements

Architect Agentic AI applications following best practices

Involved in concept design, brainstorming, research, etc. required to create new innovative solutions for consideration

Research the latest trends and implement cutting-edge AI/ ML techniques

Resolve technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation

Participate in performance/load tests, making recommendations to improve performance and scalability

Provide timely and effective solutions to critical production issues

Contribute to continuous integration and continuous deployment automation

Document solutions and keep knowledge base up-to-date to support efficiencies

What you must have:

You must have 6+ years’ experience in Python

4+ years’ experience in AWS or other cloud

3+ years’ experience building Machine Learning models using sklearn, TensorFlow or others

3+ years’ experience building Deep Learning models and Neural Networks





2+ years’ experience building AI systems and AI Agents

Bachelor or Master’s in Computer Science or related field.

Strong experience building Agentic AI applications using frameworks such as Strands with solid understanding of Agentic AI design patterns, AgentOps, Agent validation and evaluation.

Hands on experience with enterprise MLOps / LLMOps tooling and platform design.

Proficiency in designing and implementing cloud-based applications in AWS preferred

Experience with serverless architecture is a plus

Must have strong communication skills and be able present diagnostic, troubleshooting steps and conclusions to a varied audience

Proficient in AI-assisted development using agentic coding tools (Kiro, Copilot, etc.) to deliver production software at accelerated pace while maintaining quality standards

Experience giving large technical Demo’s to all audiences

Demonstrated expertise in supporting large-scale systems * Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to deal effectively in a global team environment

Salary/Rate Range: $105,000 to $135,000
