On occasion, we also use AI-assisted tools to help review applications. We are currently hiring a Forklift Operator to join a busy and growing manufacturing/distribution facility in Smithville. This is an excellent temp-to-perm prospect for someone who enjoys hands-on work in a mid-sized, team-oriented environment. In this role, you will be responsible for safely moving materials and pallets in and out of the facility. You'll be working on a straight afternoon shift, Monday to Thursday. This location is not accessible by public transit.
Straight Shifts- you pick either days or afternoons Monday- Friday 5 am- 1:30 pm Weekly pay Temp-to-perm opportunity with long-term stability Mid-sized, reputable distribution company Full company benefits upon permanent hire (medical, dental & RRSP) Operate a counterbalance forklift to move materials and pallets safely and efficiently Perform indoor and outdoor yard work in all weather conditions (rain, snow, ice, uneven terrain) Load and unload transport trucks Complete daily forklift and equipment inspections Follow all health & safety policies and procedures Assist with general warehouse duties as required Minimum 2 years of forklift operating experience Proven experience operating forklifts both indoors and outdoors on gravel, uneven, icy, or wet surfaces Someone looking for a long-term opportunity with growth potential
