BI Lead – Power BI (Healthcare/Life Sciences)

Location: Mississauga, ON, Canada

Contract

Work Model: Onsite (5 Days Onsite / Week)

Experience: 10+ Years (8+ can also be considered)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Business Intelligence (BI) Lead with strong expertise in Microsoft Power BI and ETL/Data Integration. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience designing enterprise BI solutions, developing executive dashboards, and working with healthcare or life sciences data. The candidate will lead BI initiatives, collaborate with business stakeholders, and deliver scalable reporting and analytics solutions.

Required Skills

- 10+ years of IT experience in Business Intelligence/Data Analytics
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI
- Expertise in:




- Power BI Dashboards
- DAX
- Power Query
- Data Modeling
- Performance Optimization
- Strong ETL experience (SSIS, Informatica, Azure Data Factory, Talend, or similar)
- Robust SQL skills
- Experience with Data Warehouse concepts
- Experience gathering business requirements and interacting with business users
- Leadership or Lead experience

- Healthcare domain
- Life Sciences domain
- Pharmaceutical domain
- Azure Data Platform experience
- Azure Synapse / Azure SQL
- Microsoft Fabric (nice to have)
