Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our Warehouse Shipping & Receiving Team at our Richmond distribution centre. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, productive, and takes pride in maintaining accuracy and productivity in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

The successful candidate must be physically capable of performing the duties of the role, including lifting up to 40 lbs, standing and walking for extended periods, climbing ladders or stairs, wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), and working in varying warehouse conditions such as dust, noise, and temperature changes.

What You'll Be Doing:

- Loads and unloads containers and semi-trailers, primarily using a forklift
- Prepares orders by pulling materials, packing equipment, preparing pallets, and staging




- Maintains a clean work area by organizing and cleaning shelves, pallet area, and general work area
- Coordinates with office and drivers, as necessary
- Wood cutting/repack products to get ready to ship
- Complete all necessary paperwork accurately
- Digitally processes orders and maintains inventory controls
- Other related duties as required

Skills & Qualifications:

- At least 3-year experience as forklift operator
- Valid forklift certification
- Safety‑focused operator in fast‑paced warehouse or LTL environment
- High attention to detail with accurate reading, labeling, and freight handling
- Physically able to lift, carry, walk, and operate a forklift for most of the shift
- Team‑oriented with good verbal and written English (Mandarin an asset)
- Experience w/ power tools, carpentry, or woodworking equipment is an asset
- Site‑specific training and evaluation provided per WorkSafeBC requirements

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
