Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, restrooms, and other designated spaces using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment
- Conduct routine commercial cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing surfaces, and waste disposal to uphold cleanliness standards
- Assist with facilities maintenance by reporting any damages or maintenance needs to the appropriate teams promptly
- Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are well-maintained, organized, and used safely
- Follow established health and safety protocols to create a secure environment for guests and staff
- Support special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning tasks as scheduled or requested
- Maintain detailed logs of completed duties and report any issues or irregularities immediately
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, including commercial cleaning environments preferred
- Strong knowledge of facilities maintenance practices and basic maintenance procedures
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality and thoroughness
- Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues clearly
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to safety guidelines
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings or weekends as needed
