Hilda May Events & Catering is a luxury event company specializing in elevated private, corporate, and social events throughout the Greater Toronto Area and surrounding areas. We’re looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and professional Event Servers to join our on-call team for upcoming events. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in exciting environments, meeting new people, and being part of creating unforgettable experiences.

What You’ll Do

- Welcome guests with warmth, professionalism, and exceptional hospitality.
- Provide food and beverage service with confidence and attention to detail.
- Assist with event setup, room preparation, food presentation, and event teardown.
- Maintain clean, organized service stations throughout the event.
- Anticipate guest needs and provide attentive, friendly service.
- Work closely with chefs, bartenders, coordinators, and fellow servers to ensure every event runs seamlessly.
- Follow all food handling, sanitation, and safety standards.
- Represent the Hilda May brand with professionalism, positivity, and pride.

What We’re Looking For

- Previous serving, hospitality, banquet, catering, or restaurant experience is preferred.
- A positive attitude with excellent customer service and communication skills.




- Comfortable working in fast-paced environments while maintaining professionalism.
- Ability to lift, carry, and stand for extended periods.
- Solid attention to detail and willingness to help wherever needed.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and presentable.

Requirements

- A valid G driver’s licence and reliable access to a vehicle are required. Our events take place throughout the GTA, and team members must be able to travel independently and arrive on time.
- Valid Smart Serve certification is required.
- Legally eligible to work in Canada.
- Smart, professional black attire suitable for upscale events (or willingness to obtain it).
